Default Video? Video!

As everyone is probably aware by now the Canon R5 does hella good video. I'm still in the infant stages of learning all this. Hell, I barely understand the language. But the only way to learn is to do. Make sure you've got 4K selected in the quality settings on YouTube, Full Screen or Theater Mode. (It's not a long video not to worry) This was shot at 4K 60 fps which allows you some latitude to slow down the clip without getting the jerky motion.

Editing video isn't to difficult IF you understand the lingo.

Impressive, very crisp and still with no jerkiness. What lens were you using?

My 800 5.6 locked down on a gimbal. I had animal eye focus on. I also shot this particular clip in APSC crop mode primarily for the reach. I’m still comparing this mode to 4K HQ which is a down-sample of the 8K sensor.

I also didn’t shoot in C-Log which is the video equivalent of RAW. One hurdle at a time I figure.

800mm even locked down tight that is impressive steadiness! I have like (2) birds in my entire portfolio and they were just seagulls!

Ring bills here by the billions. I like them for dialing in camera settings. They’re typically very active and where there is 1 there’s 100.
