Edgyvette ZO6 going under the knife Friday
So the time has come to take the plunge. The PTS Single Turbo system install will begin on Friday.
We will be keeping it simple in the hopes we can make 750whp on the stock LT4 fuel system without leaning heavy on meth. We want to produce a strong combo with a lower price point than a HO supercharged package. We are expecting 750-800whp with only the PTS single 80/88 Magnum ball bearing turbo kit, G1 Pro sheet metal intake, and Alky control dual nozzle meth injection. We are using the M480 turbo in case we decide to go to the next level with the CR Fueler and make 1000+whp. I will provide updates in this thread. https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.cor...8d0e4e6225.jpg https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.cor...58459abcc2.jpg https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.cor...4a9336941.jpeg https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.cor...43c0bc23a2.jpg https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.cor...519899900e.jpg |

-Josh I am sure you would also be doing your own install and tune. We recommend the LT4 HPFP and injectors for LT1 and the G1PRO intake for both Z and Stingray. See here https://www.edgyvette.com/product/pt...gle-turbo-kit/ https://www.edgyvette.com/product/673/ https://www.edgyvette.com/product/g1...take-manifold/ https://www.edgyvette.com/product/c7...t-gm-12684130/ https://www.edgyvette.com/product/co...ure-fuel-pump/ Now if you want to get real serious and go over 1000whp we would add the port injection option to the G1Pro sheet metal intake, CR Fueler and FIC LS3 injectors. https://www.edgyvette.com/product/cr-fueler/ https://www.edgyvette.com/product/g1...ection-option/ |
Thanks for the info.. Can't wait to see yours. :)

Special thanks to friend and loyal customer of Edgyvette for giving me his passenger side exhaust manifold. I gave the ones from the Z away and would have had to buy another one if Robert had not squared me away. Thanks brother

Latest picture after we heat wrapped all exposed wiring and tubes. Working through some issues causing car to stay in open loop. Think it may be a MAF or current issue. Working on finding gremlin!

So it has been quite some time since we started this project and we have taken the time to change and improve upon some things as we went in order to create a truly cost effective option for those ZO6 owners who want big HP without the big pricetag. Initial testing of the EV 800 package did a little better than we had hoped. ONLY mods on our 2016 M7 ZO6 are below. We did run out of fuel on full E85 at about 5900 RPM. Stock cam, stock LT4 fuel system, etc PTS 80mm Single Turbo system G1Pro LT4 Street sheet metal intake manifold Crawford Racing CR Fueler system with FIC 1000cc injectors Tuning by Chris Crawford The next stage (EV 1000 package) will add a FORE triple pump low side fuel system Pricing on both packages will be posted on the website and on a special promotion for sale thread here next week. Ballpark is $11000 for the EV850 package and $13000 for the EV1000 package. My impressions of the system is as follows: Much more manageable power band with linear, smooth acceleration throughout the entire RPM range SERIOUS pull from 2800 RPM to 5900 RPM The sound is unbelievable and it shoots a little flame out the back pipes. LOL Car averaged 22.7 MPG on the 700 mile trip from NC to Tampa in mixed driving with E50-80 |
Is this with fueler, if so what is feeding the port system? How much boost?

I guess the internals on the Z06 are better than the LT1 with the piston issues when you get around 600-650 hp?

If I recall, they make some drop in forged pistons to fix that, you dont have to worry about much other than that ? :hide:
There will be no issue with making 700whp on 10psi and full E85 with the EV800 package. Very easy to swap WG springs and also to adjust boost with the manual boost controller included in this kit. The OEM intake manifold will hold 10psi easily |
