autox in houston
Anyone on CF do autox solo in Houston?
Have been thinking about checking it out, and eventually running my C5 in it.... Found the SCCA forum for Houston, but not much activity on there.... What events happen in Houston? What would it take for me to run my C5? Only mods are vararam, headers, borla touring, tune, running nitto 555 tires right now (300 treadwear) |

To run, just show up with money, helmet (most groups have loaners if you don't have one), and a car that will pass tech (remove all loose items, no fluid leaks, all lug nuts, battery held down, etc). |
cool, sounds like fun...
need to hit up one of the houston events 1st.... |

Check out this link.

Link to flyer is in first column. :) If you have a regular C5, those mods will put you into the 2H class If you have a C5Z06, you would be in class 2J. I don't know how they do it down ther in the south, but if you are not a NCCC member, they should let you run as a guest. |
If he is running is SCCA Solo, Sounds like a underprepped ASP (A Street Prepared car). Definately not a SS (Superstock) car. Check with the SCCA Solo rules.
