:iagree:

Having a wheel that big will affect your steering and will almost definitely rub.

I'll let you know tomorrow, these are due to arrive, but with 245/30's in the front. My tire guy said the 35's will rub. The bottom wheel is the front with 2" lip, naturally the other is the 4" lip rear.

:toetap: We already know how you feel about 20's in the front. :D

Here are some that look nice to me.

Like I mentioned, pulled the trigger on the Ruff Racing wheels and got talked into the 20x8.5 on the front with 245/30/20 Nitto's (285/30/20 rear on 20x10).

Will post some pics tomorrow. :D

OP, here are some "life saving links" I've been using. Have fun with your research! Key is to keep the diameter the same as the stock setup and to keep the circumference close to the same.

Vettes have a firm ride as it is, don't understand why you would want your car to feel like your ridding on solid rubber tires, aslo if you hit a good bump, kiss your rim goodbye! just my .02

I run 18/19s and the ride is a lot more firm, can't emagine what 20s would feel like!

:willy: It will be an adventure for sure. I went from one extreme to the other. Stock 17/18 to 20's all the way around. I really love the meat on my current setup, saving the wagons just in case!

And my car is slammed on stock bolts.

Naturally I'll post up pics, here is the current set up.

I really find it funny how some of you can tell someone else about a rim and tire setup that you have never hade on your car. Some of these comments are just plain ass wrong, just people jumping in with opinions...OP just do the research on your own because most of these (opinions) are very biased.

And yes 245-35-20 will rub in the front, I have a 255-30-20 on the front of my car and that was cutting it very close.

You could have gone to 15/16 set up for that extra dose of rubber...

Well, UPS was early so here is my new setup. I'm about 95% happy but a perfectionist so that is actually good for me. :willy: Thinking back, I've never had a wheel/tire setup I've been completely happy with.

My 245/30/20 does not rub in the front. And the short ride I took seemed better than my 17/18 (I have cheap Sumitomo's on the wagons).

If I had it to do over I probably would go with the 19's in the front but with the tires sizes I went with I still have near the same "stagger" as the stock 17/18 (677 mm height rear 652 mm height front).

I like the way it sits and the wheel gaps are near perfect (may raise the rear 2-3mm).

Thanks. I'd guesstimate about 3-5 lbs heavier than my repro chrome wagons. I thought they would be much heavier.

I almost went with the 281. Great price, especially to Hawaii. In keeping with the beach theme, here's one from my roadtrip to Daytona yesterday.
