As Tom McCabe said above, try contacting the Syracuse Corvette Club. I saw last night that they have a Dan and Michelle (Williams) on their active member rolls for this year. Could it be them? Only one way to find out.

Wow who would be such a douche to do something like that !

No matter what kind of car it is just in general.

If I ever saw something like that it would be a whooping that would occur

That is very kind and generous Mike. Hate that happened to a Corvette family member at a wonderful event. I hope the care package eases their trepidation about owning a Vette...

I'll say one thing: whoever the criminal is who did this thing to that couple's car (yes, criminal---defacing private property is a crime), probably was seen doing it. And considering the folks that go to Carlisle, he or she was lucky not to be hurt as a consequence. Karma does happen and work its strange way. And Mike is a good guy---so is Lance.

I would bet if the event organizers looked around and asked a few questions of the immediate area vendors, they might actually turn up a name. One vendor might not approach another vendor doing something like this. I'd also bet the organizers have figured this out, too.

I wish the best for the couple and hope they come back many times!

CSI has nothing on Mike Furman.

Along with the care package from Mike, I hope he sends along some info and photos from his C5 archives.

All is well that ends well with Furman.

And these folks can go to the NCM and see their name on the donor list. How cool is that!!!

I wonder if it was Vendor Adam of Adams Detail Products who removed the paint. He and his crew were at Carlisle showing off their detail products, and they would be the go to boyz to get the job done. They did a monster job on Furman's Laguna Blue C7 while it sat in the Spring Mountain tent.

Lots of people here to thank....I have been attending Carlisle events since 1978 and your team, as I have told you over a Callaway owners dinner two yrs ago, does a fantastic job.

How hard would it have been to write, "Reserved. Please move your car. Thanks." on a piece of paper and stick it under the windshield wiper? Jeez. :crazy2:

Goodonya, Mike.
