6.7 Power Stroke engine bay

guy dropping off chemicals where I work was checking the oil on his company rig a newer F350 with 6.7 Power Stroke. No wonder they have to remove the cab to do anything to the engine.

Wow! What a tangled mess.

They have been a mess forever. Even the 7.3s needed the cab removed, albeit far less often as it was the most reliable of all the Stupid Duty diesels.

Having experienced driving them, maintenance, and taking them in for warranty over the last 10 years, a Ford Diesel is the LAST heavy duty pickup I would ever own. Give me one, and I would trade it in on anything else, immediately. Just my experience, others may vary.

Its not hateful to remove them "if" you have a lift.. We've done a couple of them in my buddies pole building. I believe its 5 or 6 bolts and wiring harnesses. It makes a world of difference when you start taking stuff off and its all easy to get to.. Ok, it does suck you have to do that to do certain things...but once its off its all there in front of you.
