Installed RF Stealth Cannon Headlights
Finally got around to painting my shrouds gloss black so I could install my RF stealth cannon headlights. I added xbaled halos around each projector to ensure they could be seen during broad daylight. Haven't had the opportunity to do any night driving but I have no doubt the headlights will be a night and day difference over stock.
RF was very helpful along the way during my install when I had some questions. I couldn't find a lot pics of these headlights when researching so I figured I would add some pics for you guys to check out. http://i997.photobucket.com/albums/a...pshf1fea7h.jpg http://i997.photobucket.com/albums/a...pscabdltwv.jpg http://i997.photobucket.com/albums/a...ps4sydnydu.jpg http://i997.photobucket.com/albums/a...pspuppgizz.jpg http://i997.photobucket.com/albums/a...psyutei6mu.jpg http://i997.photobucket.com/albums/a...psvynrimat.jpg |
I like them a lot more than I expected I would when I opened the thread. Looks good. Curious to hear what you think after some night driving with them.

Those looks really good on the car. Where did you get them, how difficult was the install (plug and play or more involved), etc.?
|
Sorry, but your tools are waaay too organized for me. :D
but really, those lights don't look too bad! |
I like the ccw's:thumbs:

Please don't let my grandson see those.....he hates the pop ups!
Those look awesome (hate the frog eyes) All of your mods are tastefully done... I really like the blacked out pillars..NICE! |
Wow those are actually really awesome
|
If I ever go with a non-pop up lights, those would have to be it. Hate the frogeyed ones and I really like those. I know you said you painted the shrouds but did you have to take them apart to paint them or are they already seperated for painting and then you put them together when installing them? Thanks for posting. Car's looking great...

MORE info MORE pics .... these are very nice and others for sure are going to want ALL the insider info.
Thanks |
These really do look great, thanks for sharing! They're so much better than the other frog-eye type lights.
I just wish they weren't so expensive... |
They look great on your car, I also had George's set up on my car at one time and really loved them, George is very anal and his products are second to none, I ended up going back to the stock flip up head lights after a while just to change it up again, of course George Built me a set of his top knotch lights once again and let me tell you, driving at night is a blast, the lights he builds and designs are IMHO the best available.
Your car looks awesome  |

RF had mounted the 40mm light bars for me. I purchased 2 80mm xbaled halos that sit around each project perfectly. They are clear siliconed to the shroud, I could have used a 3m clear epoxy and likely would if I did it again.

Thanks I'll get some more pics when I take my car out next. Here's a few I took a long the way while mounting... http://i997.photobucket.com/albums/a...ps5ngyvdlz.jpg no lens on. http://i997.photobucket.com/albums/a...psgyittplp.jpg |
Very nice!!
I'd have a hard time giving up my flips thought! |
Looks great! The only thing I don't like are the L shape lights above, otherwise if I had the $ I'd probably do it.
P.S. kinda gives it a 550 Maranello look. |
Got a straight side-on (profile) shot?
|
Nice setup.
Note: the "L" shaped DRL Bar was an option offered on our lights. This option is no longer offered due to overall lack of interest and a desire to streamline the production process. We do however still offer the Angel eyes in both white and amber. |
