Light in Center Console
I just got a 2002 Coupe and am just asking sum general questions..Does the center console suppose to have a light in it? Thanks

No, it does not have a light in it. If you are speaking of a little red light or LED it is probably hooked into an aftermarket alarm.

There is no light in the center console.

My 01 Coupe has a bright orange LED to indicate airbag on/off.
That light is near the AH/TH button. (The airbag on/off switch is in the glovebox, and requires the ignition key.) Additionally, you may have a soft/subtle orange glowing area just in front of the radio. I'm thinking its intended as a maplight of sorts, actually comes from the passenger side bulb in the rear view mirror. |

No light in a stock C5 console.

My 2003 Z doesn't have a light in the center console.
