My Stingray. I agree with the comments about why buy it if you are afraid to drive it. My debate is whether to get dedicated snow tires or all season tires because snowfall in Cincinnati is pretty infrequent, last winter excepted.

Plus it is one of my great pleasures to drive it.

For whatever reason, I never purchased snow tires for my previous beast, a 2012 CTS V coupe six speed manual. With all the snow last year I failed to make it up the last steep hill before my house two times. I had to walk 50 yards!.

The kicker is I had fairly worn high-performance summer tires on it. They were 20 mm wider at each end than the OEM tires. There were also many days below freezing..

Best regards,

Jim

My 2015 A8 coupe...........took delivery mid October, drove it to Florida for the winter, back home to Ontario Canada late April.....now 7 months old with 10,000 fun miles on it. When I wear it out I'm just gonna buy another..........we aint here for a long time so might as well have a fun time:cheers:

I went through the same struggle, daily driver it or not....

My reasoning is I'm far too anal about my cars and I put too many miles in a year. I put on in excess of 25k miles per year.

The G35 I can drive, whip around town and do what I have to and not be so worried.

Also, when I visit clients pulling up in a new Corvette can be a bit of a negative.

My dd is a 2014 Subaru Impreza-stick shift makes it sort of fun. AWD for the winter and good gas mileage.

It's interesting how some here equate not using the Corvette as a daily driver with being afraid to drive it. :willy:

Here's my DD - 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited 4X4 Hemi.

Wish I could keep my Lemans Blue... no garage space and would strain the bank account a little too much. I would have gotten another Lemans Blue if they made it for the C7. Will probably be pissed when it comes out next year or whatever :willy:

'14 SRX. I live in the Rockies and need AWD, and I need room to cart family and stuff. Drive my new C7 every chance I get. :woohoo:
