A customer of ours is making a thread to accommodate our DIY kits for the seat conversion. :rock:


Corvette C7 GM Competition Seat Conversion


We have been getting a few requests to compile a kit to upgrade the seats to the Competition Seats or two-tone GT seats available on 2LT, 3LT, 2LZ, and 3LZ for the C7 Corvettes.


This is becoming a very popular upgrade for the base GT bucket seats because not all of your local dealers had the exact corvette you want, and we can offer this upgrade/conversioin at an unbeatable price :chevy


This upgrade adds the two-tone leather seat covers, pads, etc., or the two-tone seats with sueded microfiber inserts.
OR you can convert to the Competition Seats which are available in Spice Red, Twilight Blue,Brownstone leather, Dark Gray, Gray, Jet Black, and Kalahari.
These seats include the Carbon Fiber Competition Seat bezels of course :cool:

Competition Sport Seats.
The available Competition Sport Seats, are designed for the racetrack and for the street. These seats provide maximum support for cornering, with more pronounced side bolsters. Premium materials include aluminum, carbon fiber, and sueded microfiber.






With the help from us at Trunk Monkey Parts, you are now able to swap out the seat covers/pads for a more aesthetically bold two-toned interior or swap out for the Competition Seats.



The GT Bucket Seats are Available in Black Leather with Adrenaline Red, Gray, or Dark Gray leather inserts; also available in Adrenaline Red leather, Gray leather, or Dark Gray leather with Black Sueded Microfiber Inserts.


The Competition Seat Conversion can be ordered in leather in either Spice Red, Twilight Blue, Brownstone, Dark Gray, Gray, Jet Black, and Kalahari.

Is it not possible to get Competition seat leather in Blue or Red ?? Factory vehicles are available with blue or red leather.

You are correct, those are available! My apologies for leaving those out of the original description

can this be done to the 1LT seats?

Yes it can be done to any of the Stingray, Z51, or Z06 models
You could do the GT upgraded covers,
or the Competition Seat back replacements:rock:

I like the Spice Red Competition seats ... oh well .. too late now. :)

Want to convert my `15 Z06 Black Comp seats to Spice Red Comp seats.

Can I get a price for Two tone red/black seats?

I have the 3LT Gray leather GT seats, and I like the two tone Gray with Black leather insert option (also in the basic GT seat) but I need some clarification please. Is that done as a replacement of the center cushions and coverings, or just the coverings? Also, I'm assuming that this change applies to the center section of both the seat back and the lower seating area? Please let me know those answers and the price, thanks.

Here are a few pictures from those who have done the conversion:

The bottom pic with Kalahari interior shows a Competition seat bottom .. Did the owner convert the entire seat and not just the back ??

I have Adrenalin Red Competition seats. Is it possible to get suede inserts (either black or a slightly darker red)? I have yet to see that anywhere.

The competition seats are not available in a two-tone


also, you cannot actually insert the "inserts,"
they are apart of the actual cover as one piece (top & bottom)




The seat bottom cushions are slightly denser,
also the amount of "panels" in the seat is consistent in tha back as in the cushion

I know the difference between the seat bottoms. You stated that those are pictures of seats that have been converted. The Kalahari seats in the picture above are 100% Competition seats ... so I am asking if they were completely converted unlike the other pictures that only the back was converted. Or is that just a picture of factory Competition seats?
