Mgw wait for shifter

Does it really take 3-4 weeks for these to be shipped out according to their site? One would think they would keep some stock of each model.

Thanks

Mine came quicker than that. Maybe 10 days I think.

I just ordered a flat stick shifter yesterday afternoon and received an email this morning saying it shipped and gave me a tracking # :)

Mine was quicker than the 3-4 weeks quoted.......I just got it within the past couple of weeks as a reference....

yeah i called them today they said that is pretty much a blanket email for some of their non popular products it could take up to that long

It's worth the wait.

How are the new tires and wheels? Hoping you like them.

real good especially in heavy rain probably have around 2500 miles on them already and no complaints did track em over the weekend as well and they hung on pretty good. way better then the continentals where the tires would be overpowered by the brakes

How does the install go on swapping these out?

It's really easy. The hardest part for me was not breaking the plastic tabs(which I did) that hold on the console side panel. Take your time and pry gently!

fleming23 08-30-2016 09:33 AM

I ordered mine on 8/23 and received my shipping notification today, so exactly 1 week.

Hopefully I'll get it installed this weekend!

Not too bad at all. Take your time and you will be fine.

George is great!

He is my neighbor. He hooked me up for my ZR1 and C7Zo6 within 24hrs. He knows his stuff and stands behind his product!

Mine delivered today and took me 35, maybe 45 minutes from start to stop. It really helped that I watched all the install videos 2 or 3 times prior to disassembly.

Definitely a much more notchy and direct engagement now. I like it! Instead of sort of sliding into the gates it is now a much more defined "click, click."

Curious as to what brand and size tires you put on your ZO6?

Thanks, Marty

I haven't missed a 4-5 shift since putting this shifter in my car.....2-3 is solid as well......I am glad I spent the money....peace of mind when banging the gears!
