2009 GT1 Championship Edition Convertible

Another pair of rare Corvettes has to be the 2009 GT1 Championship Edition Convertibles. If I'm not mitaken, I think there were 7 black and 10 yellow. I tried to buy one last year but it was a little out of my reach.

I'm pretty sure Dick had the white one. There is some question about it being built as an L88 and then converted to ZL-1 by the dealer for the buyer.

The orange one is still (or was) owned by the original owner John Mahler, so it gets pretty hard to doubt it. I believe it was sold in 2005 and restored (????) which is very odd as the car was in great shape and carried its racing history, which restoration erased.

And then there is the yellow one that Roger owns in Maitland. I believe part of its history was being seized by the US government due to a previous owner having less that legal income and business operations long ago.

Then you remember this "rare" Corvette. That is Dave Dawdy and Dick Ferrando standing next to it, back in 1976.
