This burned Corvette is so far gone it isn't even recognizable as a car any longer.

$275 seems high. I can get garbage for free in my kitchen. I would consider lowering the price.

Where is the rest of the car?

It looks like someone burned a stripped cowl/firewall section, only.

No frame, no bumper brackets, no seat frames, no motor, no suspension, no gas tank, no top or windshield hardware, window crank mechanism, wiper motor, etc. And the unburned floormats?

I didn't click the link, but you're probably buying the number and title.

Someone has to say it: " it will buff out "

Shows there is a buyer for everything.

Said VIN was altered. Have no idea why someone would buy it. Maybe the cones come with it.

Give it six months and that car will be correctly restored, complete with all crayon marks and the VIN tag, for sale on Craigslist.

I believe it is the one stolen when owner was in town for Detroit Autorama.

Those are some expensive cones!

No normal fire is hot enough to melt all the cast iron and heavy gauge steel parts. If any of the wiring fasteners survived, I would be interested.

It looks like a plastic lower valance and floor mats made it...

Roger Walling 07-12-2017 07:25 PM

A previous post stated that most parts were stolen and what was left they burnt .

Kerrmudgeon 07-13-2017 10:58 PM

“They probably stripped every part off of it that they could sell, or use, or wanted or whatever,” Fischbach says.
No kidding! They stripped it of EVERYTHING and burned what was left of the body. Damn shame. :(

Kerrmudgeon,

It looks like they stripped down your avatar and only left the body.

Finally there's a C1 in my price range.
