Performance cam question , 84 crossfire

Has anyone ever run this Lunati voodo hydraulic non roller ?
I will have a Renegade, and headers, 186 double hump heads , 64 cc everything else is stock
Before I commit to it , I’d like to hear some real world feedback https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.cor...e04809d84.jpeg

That type of profile works great with Vortec heads but would be fairly mild with double humps. Its going to have some torque but run out of steam well before that 5500rpm that is stated.

I built a engine for my 84 crossfire. I ported my stock manifold and used this camshaft:

Cam Style: Hydraulic flat tappet

Basic Operating RPM Range: 2,200-5,200

Intake Duration at 050 inch Lift: 222

Exhaust Duration at 050 inch Lift: 222

Duration at 050 inch Lift: 222 int./222 exh.

Advertised Intake Duration: 290

Advertised Exhaust Duration: 290

Advertised Duration: 290 int./290 exh.

Intake Valve Lift with Factory Rocker Arm Ratio: 0.447 in.

Exhaust Valve Lift with Factory Rocker Arm Ratio: 0.447 in.

Valve Lift with Factory Rocker Arm Ratio: 0.447 int./0.447 exh.

Lobe Separation (degrees): 114

This cam works great with the stock computer. I do not race my car, I just wanted it to run a little better than stock and it does what I want.

This was made by Sealed Power CS179R and available from several different vendors. It has the same specs as the old 327 350hp. camshaft.

I know a few guys have used the crane 114132 with success. That seems somewhat similar in that regard... it is hard to say though.
