I was just going to comment on your pictures you posted in the other thread. Your car is extreme! I love the look of it. Sorry to hear about the motor.

My condolences.

ruxvette 07-15-2018 11:14 AM

Sorry for your bad luck. Seems like you had a healthy build on the LS2 (show AND go). Are you building the LS3, too?

That's a shame 2000, so what will the new motor be besides an LS3, any upgrades power wise?

Hey thanks Rux, yea its getting a cam kit, high flow oil pump and oil cooler is mandatory. Im keeping the D1 Procharger I told the shop I want 700whp no more.

A paltry 700 HP. Posh...😂
Good luck with the build. 👍

stingray71 07-16-2018 12:58 PM

Sorry to hear about that. The car still looks great. Good luck with the new LS3. What happened to cause the loss of oil pressure and blown engine?

Jeff T. 07-16-2018 02:13 PM

Good Luck on the new motor!

I'd be real happy with a paltry 700hp!

theandrewo 07-16-2018 04:04 PM

Do you know what happened?

Bruze 07-16-2018 05:13 PM

I assume that "oil compression" means "oil pressure."

LOL....I was thinking the same thing. I'm thinking maybe since the oil is actually kinda being compressed to create the pressure, then this may be the new tech mills description of oil pressure......::willy:

You mean like how they changed "ft-lbs" to "lb-ft"??? That must have been a very complex mental exercise.
