Why not

Why not improve your searches to get better results. For example if I search for Z06 convertible I get non Z06 convertibles, non convertibles Z06s and of course I get Z06 convertibles. Why not at least sort the search so that Z06 convertibles are at the top? This is not really very hard. Also you could use the "+" to say I only want both categories. For example
"Z06 + convertible + red"
would get me only threads that satisfy all of the conditions. Your searches only take a few seconds and the sort of even 100 hits would only add a second or two at most.
Don't get me wrong I use the find a lot and maybe there is a way already to do this.
Thanks

i am learning how to use search
so I am interested in a "C7 + yellow" and end up with 400+ returns and mostly not relevant
what should I do to improve results

Honestly for the amount of time your web page programmers spend on your web site it would be nice if I was looking for a Z06 convertible the results would be ordered by those threads with both Z06 and convertible sorted by the date, then those threads with only Z06 no convertible ordered by date, then those threads with only convertible and no Z06 ordered by date. This is rather basic programming not rocket science so why can't you do better??? This way your users save lots of time and appreciate your efforts.

Thank you, I tried "FS + Z06 + convertible" and that did work except for it not allowing FS (too common or too short was the reason). However, why does this not work searching the thread instead of the title?

When you search the thread i.e. 'posts' if 'yellow' is posted anywhere you'll get a hit. Yellow stitching, yellow calipers etc. Searching titles has its drawbacks because the has to have color in the title versus and abbreviation like 'VY' (Velocity Yellow) (is that a C7 color?) or AW (arctic white)

Search terms need to be 3 characters or more therefore 'FS' isn't searchable...sort of.

Scroll down just a tick in 'advanced' to the 'options' section and click 'FS' from the 'find threads with prefix' option...
Example: Z06 Red Convertible (Thread titles only) FS prefix yields this:
