My Whipple/Nitrous Z06
 

have a had a lot of people asking questions about my setup over the last few months so here are the details.

Stock motor
Stock cam
Stock trans
Stock direct injection system running 91octane
2.9L Whipple with spray bars Nitrous express system with NOS progressive controller, stand alone tank with c16, and Lingenfelter LNC timing box all on a 200 shot.
Stainless works headers with no cat, stock from cat back
Haltech CAI
18" Forgeline wheels with MT ET Street R tire

The install was completed by CAP and to me they are the best shop in the Mid West. All this tuning took a while to dial in but Brian Hunstbarger was able to get it perfect.

I live in Denver and our track is generally at 9000' + DA, with that being said my best is a 9.70 at 148.9MPH. Best 60' in the car was 1.4 but I unfortunately ran out of spray on that pass and haven't been able to do it since. Best standing half mile here is Denver is 177.8MPH.

The best attribute of this setup to me is by far the street rolls, it makes 1200tq on the hit at 3500 RPM and puts the power down perfectly. I have literally sprayed at LEAST 600lbs of nitrous through the motor at this point with absolutly no issue. Not one part on the car has broken...I am even on the same plugs from the install.

Very Nice! Shows how fast you can go in the Z06 with adding more mods. The more other cars you knock off the better. Hope you see a S720 out and about? The guys adding the meth kits should maybe look at just doing NOS instead? I would knock on wood about the broken parts.

Thanks man, I have raced a 720S and got em pretty good too. I have tons of videos racing people and have yet to lose on the street. There are 4-5 GTR's as well as some other cars here in Colorado that would get me if we lined up but I am super happy with the setup! Setup has been installed since April, have probably 30 track passes, 1/2 mile event, and tons of street racing.

Just curious/ Did you see what she makes off the GIGGLE JUICE?

I haven't tried it yet as we were short on dyno time the day I did and we did all the base tuning on the street prior. I am only on 14lbs of boost do to being on stock DI system. If I go SPI next the whipple is capable of 20lbs. If I had to guess I think its low 700 off the juice.

I'm in about the same boat seems plenty around 700 for but IT SURELY MUST be blast adding the GAS! Plus perfect set-up. Thin air helps the high traps. The NOS makes the thin air not an issue.

Nice car man, and fast too! I am also considering a Nitrous Outlet kit on mine with a standalone fuel setup for race gas.

You need the C-16 fuel cell and the 200 shot spray NOS bar too along with things I'm missing.! Then your good!
