Looking for a clean title car sub 33k
Posting price and location would greatly increase traffic to the CD Does anyone really spend $40k on a used 14-17 3Lt when a new 1Lt can be had for $49k??? Thank You |

Thank You Where are you seeing decent examples @ $33K? Best "unicorn" I saw was a 2014 2LT 28K miles CRM over Kalahari for $34K in Kansas. It had been in a decent wreck but not totaled (clean title) and appeared repaired properly. Sold very quickly -- before I could scrape up the cash. |
As far as I remember - people don't post asking price in the title because the title cannot be edited (except by a moderator perhaps?), and some sellers might want to adjust the asking price if their car isn't generating enough interest. I TOTALLY agree on posting the location in the title, though. Usually I can just look in the avatar section of the Original Poster and see the location.
Have a look at my stickied thread: https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...-corvette.html where I posted an example of a for-sale thread title: "year / trim / coupe vs convertible / manual vs auto / color / options / location" YES - concise thread titles draw my attention and make my morning-coffee-and-corvette-forum-searching so much more enjoyable! |
I looked at new and used, compared 14 and 15 3LT to 2019 1LT’s for 50k and Z51 LT1 with one or two options for 55k. I found the pricing for the used 14s and 15’s to be 43K to 47K with a few higher exceptions. I settled on a one owner 14 Premier 3LT, Z51, CPO, 4600 miles for 45K. Add 900 for a 48 months GMPP warranty. I did want the Laguna blue. The car drives like new, honestly I could not feel or tell any difference between the 19th and the 14. So with all the extra Options and equipment, for me it was the better deal. Cheapest I saw was 34k for a 14 2LT with 93k miles on it.

You can buy brand new corvette for 43.5k$ +plus tax fees.
do not pay more than 28k for any USED corvette. |

The miles go up, the price goes down, pretty simple.
|
True, however not too many C7’s out there over 50k miles. I found one with 100k miles for 30k. The majority are 38k plus. Nothing for 27k. I have two friends that run cars through Mannheim auctions here on the east coast. C7’s in good condition average miles go though at 35k plus depending on equipment and miles. 2LT’s are the sweet spot. However a lot that go to auction also have some history’s of accidents, some minor, some major. Most dealers hold the clean low mileage C7’s (most C7’s) because they do sell.

Everyone, please ignore any gibberish by forum member Thatsok, they are notorious for posting unrealistic numbers.

All ads have price. If not, the moderator gives notice and price must be added. Location not hard to get from the seller if you ask. Shipping cheap in the 48 states.

Jeff, I’d like the CF to be an easy site to search, clicking on each ad takes forever
