Yours is a great looking '60! There were only 140 reported Cascade Green painted Corvettes in '60.
A buddy of mine had his Cascade Green car at Bloomington 3 - 4 years ago and was judged. It attracted all kinds of attention. So much so that Adam Boca from the Corvette Museum / Insurance Co. asked if he would be willing to loan the car to the Museum for the Museum's Rare Colors Display. I hauled it down there for him. |

Hi Folks, We had a nice weekend last week which gave me a opportunity to change the oil and filter and take the car for a ride. It does have a aftermarket 7 quart oil pan. I had to adjust the choke setting a little leaner, it was running a little rich when cold. I did not check the numbers on the carb but looks like a 650 Holley double pumper model. The intake is a Edelbrock Performer RPM. It also has a complete MSD ignition system with a tach drive distributor and a 6AL ignition box. I did not get any specs on the engine build but the cam sounds good, probably a 350hp hydraulic cam. The engine has plenty of get up and go with the higher gear ratio in the differential. Hi Folks, I had a out of the country party interested in the car. He paid to have the car inspected. The only thing he found not working besides the radio was the high beams and dash lights not working. I replaced the headlight switch and the high beams switch. Both are working as they should. He stated he would buy the car, but no deposit has been made. I am also still considering 1957 Corvette or custom C1 or C2 as a possible trade. Feel free to call or text with any questions. Thanks.
