New Crate Engine

Hi All,
I'm thinking on a BluePrint 350 365hp motor. Has anyone purchased from them before. How are there 350 engines, are they reliable. Need it for a daily driver.
I read both positive a negative things but was shocked that negative threads are usually updated by Blueprint reaching out to resolve the issue.
Just want to drive problem free.

Any thoughts?

I just purchased the Blueprint 383 last fall and it has been great so far. As far as customer service they have been great. I had several questions and they took my calls and answered emails quickly and professionally. Very happy with them.

That's great!!!! How many miles did you put on it? What type of engine and hp?

If you are going to go crate engine, I would go for the Blueprint 383, if you can afford the extra dollars, for the added Gross HP and Torque. Remember crate engines are rated as GROSS HP, not NET HP, like all cars since 1972, just so you are aware.......A BP 425 Gross HP engine would be equivalent in a C3 to about 350-360 Net HP in today's terms......roughly

I only have probably 200 miles on it so far. This is basically what I bought: https://www.summitracing.com/parts/m...3ct1/overview/ only I purchased the short block and then the BP heads so I ended up with the same thing. So the specs would be as shown on that engine.

I don't see a 365hp sbc in BluePrint's pages.
Have you considered if ... if any unresolved may've been deleted or ... or didn't get past gatekeeper to begin with?

From what I recall, unless and until you reach BP's 396ci sbc motors, all below 396ci employ used 350ci blocks that have been overbored +0.040" ...
... which is the practical limit for most 1-pc rms blocks.
Use of New blocks begin with BP's 396ci level of sbc. Fact-check me ... You verify for yourself. Then again, +0.040" may not matter to you.
YearOne motors does similar while Smeding Performance employs all new blocks & parts.

Of course, Chevy/GM Performance (and SOME GM GOODWRENCH) use all new GM parts ... I prefer them.
There are some great GM deals, too ... especially if the hobbyist is far-sighted, handy & clever.
