Doing my headlight lenses

Suck,suck,suck,suck..... motherf$@#*&...........................

OK now that I got that out of my system, I broke some pieces off taking apart my first headlight. Am I alone in this? Somehow I don't think so. The black seal areound the lens came out fairly easy. Once I got it started with a small screwdriver it pulled out in a couple of long pieces.

Wil crazy :willy: glue work on these pieces?

Not sure where the bigger piece came from, but I wouldn't worry about the smaller piece with the Torx stud. I broke 5 of mine off when separating them but the headlights stayed together just fine as the new glue is REALLY strong.

Get some of the 2 part epoxy made for plastic, this stuff is great , it has a liquid for one side and a felt tip pen with hardener for the other side... Once you put the 2 halfs together they're not coming apart, and if it breaks again it won't be in the same spot., Trust Me on this..WW

Thanx guys  I will get some and reattach this one piece.

Agree with the 2 part epoxy, I had the same problem, I would rather change the transmission then do the headlights again. BUT it’s worth it when it’s done..

Yea, I got my kit and need to do it. How long should I allow for it? It is my only vehicle, so i will need to start and finish it with no hiccups.

So what glue did you use to attach the lens? In a video that I had watched the adhesive was a beige color, is there any black adhesive?

This stuff. The color doesn't matter because it's all hidden when the headlights are back in the car.
