Quarter panel upper intake vent question
 

For coupes that do not have the transmission cooler and rear axles cooler inside the quarter panels, what, if anything, do the upper intake vents connect to? There won't be any ductwork that leads to the coolers, so...??

They connect to nothing. There is a solid panel attached to bottom of vent. Purely decorative on non Z51. I replaced mine with Z06 style air vents.

It it weren't such a hassle getting underside access to them, I'd have replaced with plain, flat panels long ago. :yesnod:

I replaced mine with Z06/GS style vents - just gives the car a sportier look.
