Carlisle Question

This is going to be my first year going to Carlisle. Unfortunately, I will not be bring my vette but what's the protocall for the show? When do the parking lots fill up, can you get a 3 day pass cheaper than a 1 day pass. Is parking included. What's the traffic like to get to the show? You know, general first year questions.:jester

I just can't wait, looking to purchase some items for the engine. Oh joy, more stuff in the living room.

Thanks
:D

The earlier the better. You'll have a blast.

Only corvettes are allowed inside the gates for parking, unless you have a swap meet spot. There's lots of ma & pa lawn parking around the Carlisle Fairgrounds. Get there early. ~Juliet

Plan on being stuck in traffic no matter what time you get there.

Also if you are staying multiple days and don't already have a hotel room reserved...LOL

You'll have a great time!!

I have to echo the others - if you don't like traffic, you're heading to the wrong show. There is plenty of free street parking if you get there early and don't mind walking. Also there are many places which charge $5-$10 to park in small lots, yards, etc, nearby. Bring a radio flyer wagon full of cash and use it to haul purchases out. :D

Re: Carlisle Question (914eener)

I did manage to get a hotel room but it is in harrisburg. That's what I get for planning late :banghead:

So rule is bring cash, waking shoes and if I can't find it then it doesn't exist

Thanks
