This is going to be my first year going to Carlisle. Unfortunately, I will not be bring my vette but what's the protocall for the show? When do the parking lots fill up, can you get a 3 day pass cheaper than a 1 day pass. Is parking included. What's the traffic like to get to the show? You know, general first year questions.:jester
I just can't wait, looking to purchase some items for the engine. Oh joy, more stuff in the living room.
i usually get there early and you can park on peoples grass in there yards for 5-10 dollars,i usually park around gate 7 and walk right in.Traffic can back up some too.I hope you have your walking shoes on,its big.
Only corvettes are allowed inside the gates for parking, unless you have a swap meet spot. There's lots of ma & pa lawn parking around the Carlisle Fairgrounds. Get there early. ~Juliet
I have to echo the others - if you don't like traffic, you're heading to the wrong show. There is plenty of free street parking if you get there early and don't mind walking. Also there are many places which charge $5-$10 to park in small lots, yards, etc, nearby. Bring a radio flyer wagon full of cash and use it to haul purchases out. :D
If you cant find what your looking for at carlisle somethings wrong.Every year i come home with something, the wife and i have been going since we met and ive been going since i was 15 .Thats 18 years.
