The easy way to reinstall the cover is to first guide the 2 grommets on the underside of the cover onto the pins on the engine, then snap it down the rest of the way.
Thank you! That sounds easy.Someone posted awhile ago that they couldn't get it back on.

Ranger its about time you got your z, i got mine early so i didnt really have to wait, but i have been excitedly waiting for you to get yours. Go get some times and make us all proud, so when someone says what will it do in the quarter, i can say 10.xx even though i cant get the time, the car can. Now if they ask me what ive run i'll have to be satisfied with telling them an 11.high
I have the 7.0 in the ZO6 and now a 4.4L in an STS-v and I truly appreciate thw work that you all do each day, and the work that you all did to simply get there.
I'm familiar to some degree with the application process, and I know that you are not people unfamiliar with hotrods and performance engines.
I think that it would be great to see some of your own projects and what you all have worked on in your own garages. It would be a great way for us to see what you do on your time away from the plant.
I'm just waiting for a new shipment from Bowling Green and I can work a Wixom Trifecta .
My Wixom Trifecta is complete today (LMB/Black, Stealth Gray/Gray, Black/Black).
Let's please keep this apolitical. This is a very nice thread, which gives us a great opportunity to speak with the people who built these engines with pride.
I, for one, happen to enjoy that, and I'd hate for political ranting to ruin it.

Thanks - The XLRv is a very different experience than the ZO6 and the STSv. Each very fast and smooth, with each car having a very differerent driving experience.

Mine was built by P.R. Sage
I gotta ask him (her) why I hear that sweet sound (sorta like when we put baseball cards in our bike spokes ).
Only in 2nd gear starts about 2500 RPM when I nail it. In third and fourth gear no more sound. It seems to come from the right side headers.
