Default GPS Antenna Locations On A C4

I searched audio and all I found was C5/C6 info.
I would like to hear where they have been mounted in a C4.
Who's got it and where did you put it.

I should have mentioned that it is a hardwired unit that plugs into my in-dash DVD.

What does your antenna look like?

The XM antenna in my '88 works great here.

I ran the wire under the rubber strip under the breadbox to the end of the dash and then up the side and pushed the wire under the trim between the dash pad and the windshield.

They will in mine. The "voices" will be powered by a 4x75 JL amp.

It's about the same size antenna. The GPS add on will be with the DVD brain, that is in the ABS compartment. I can easily go front or back from there, so I have that choice. I was thinking about the back window area also, but the more I think about, the more I like the front better. Maybe right in the vent.

IF it works anything like mine, weather plays hell on it Id probably go with the rear window mount (up high) to eliminate weather interference.

I put the ant. for my xm receiver in the engine compartment on the metal bracket for the surge tank and ran the wire over to the area just behind the battery where there's a rubber grommet that leads to the interior. No problem at all with signal loss. Can't be to mutch difference between the two.

I installed my GPS antenna on top of the rear deck trim right in the middle.

I have mine under the vent cover on the top center of the dash. I get full signal and it's out of sight.
