Hey Fellow Corvetters,
I installed a set of these 24 lb injectors in my 94 vert last Saturday and I'm very happy with them! I personally talked to Jon Sr. the owner and was very impressed with his level of sevice. He took the time to answer all my questions to be sure I got the right injectors. A couple of days later, he even went so far as to call me back with concerns that my car being an early build may require a different injector. After cross checking the numbers on my injectors, I did have the right injectors, but just the fact that he would take the time to double check says a lot.
The injectors looked like new and were all flow matched. He includes a flow chart print out with each set.
After I installed them, my car runs smother and has improved throttle response. And over the last 4 days my gas mileage has improved by almost 2 miles to the gallon!
If you're thinking about replacing your injectors I would highly recommend going with Jon @ FIC.
Absolutely the best deal on injectors around, a class act all the way. I put a set in my car and was surprised how much better it ran. The big improvement was not from changing old injectors for new, the Ford pinktops I was running had less than 3000 miles on them, (noisy bastards). The FIC injectors are way better than the pinktops.
please watch this video. its very informative and shows actual injectors being tested againt 6 of the most widely used injectors in a c4 corvette http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Emnax2J4FX4
This is interesting to me. My car has 75k miles on it, and all of the injectors ohm out properly. Is this an item that will degrade over time and not be obvious, except in performance? How can one be sure their injectors are good?

It's pretty simple. Injectors are the most over designed part on your car. The tolerances have to be precision made within specs of less than 1 millionths of an inch. They simply don't wear out. They get dirty. This dirt and debris allthough microscopic affects the performance of the injector. As the injector struggles to work due to this dirt the coils overheat and the injector fails. This is why we ohm test the coils. If a coil checks out good there is no reason to assume it won't last years beyond the engine life as it was designed to do. The highest grade copper is used in these windings. Copper will last for ever if it is not overloaded with voltage. The Bosch III design is all stainless steel internally. Once we put the injector through our ultrasonic cleaner, The internal parts are left virtually the way they were made. The internal parts do not wear out. (Multec excluded). Therefor, you are left with an injector that will perform equally with a new one. Better yet, as rebuilts you can buy "flow Matched sets". Buy new, you get what you get. There can be a 10% varience betwen the same injector in flow. When you get our injectors they will all flow the same, and they will have new o-rings, filters and pintle caps. Why would someone spend twice as much and get the same thing. When your alternator goes on your car. do most people go for new? No. The automotive aftermarket in rebuilt parts is a billion dollar a year business. Fuel injectors are and always have been a big part of that. Diesel injectors are always rebuilt and cleaned. Even major trucking companies rely on a rebuilt diesel injectors. Cruise ships have their own ultrasonic equipment on board to clean the massive fuel injectors while at sea. They are cleaned the same way except they run at much higher pressures.

After watching the FIC video, I purchased a set of the Bosch III for my 89 Vette. I currently have a set of Lucas injectors (solid stream) in the car. I installed the Lucas injectors after the stock Multecs crapped out. Here is a picture of my engine before the installation of the FIC injectors. I will post another picture of the engine after the Bosch III installation. Just a note, I did not want the orange colored injectors on my car and had the injectors painted black.

It is very nice. I wish mine was half that clean. So which injectors are you running? 24# Bosch IIs, or 22# Bosch IIIS (4th from the left)? What do you use to clean your motor and engine bay so good? How do you keep from getting anything on the front spring? Isn't simple green safe, and a good cleaner? Thanks for any help.

P.S. I just took another look, it is like new! And I noticed you live in PA, and don't think you are very far from me. Will have to do a Maquest. Are there any local Corvette shops around you? I have a D44 w/3.54s that need installed and I don't have access to a lift, so it seems like I will be paying someone to swap it out. Same goes w/the Exotic Muscla headers and the rest of the exhaust system that needs installed. Like above, any help appreciated.
