I welded it to the the rocker panel inside via the square floor plates provided with the roll bar kit. Unfortunately I didn't take any photos of it yet. It did take a little fabricating to get it accomplished.

Good eye Beach! Correct! It is an S&W 8 point roll bar kit with double swing out bars. I modified the rear down bars so that I can continue to remove and store my roof in the back factory storage area. I have configured it as a 5 point (drivers down bar only) which is good for 10.00. I don't have any desire to go below that with this car.

Cheers,
John

shoulder strap mount points are too low...expect a busted collar bone (or two) if you use 'em as is and crash...correct shoulder strap install only prevents upper torso forward motion by restraint across sternum (breastbone) area, does NOT attempt to restrain vertical motion (lap belt does that IF mounted properly).

Hmmm...I mounted them per the instructions from G-Force. They state shoulder harness should not be more than 1-4" below shoulder height. They are above the top of my shoulders when I sit in the seat by atleast 1"-2".
So how high above my shoulder should they be? Anyone else think they are too low? How about some pictures of yours?

I am not familiar with the vert X bar. The 4 point in the back stiffened it alot. You can't really tell until you remove the roof. There is no more flex with the roof removed.

It's the steel kit. I never weighed it. It can't be much because I modified it quite bit. The main hoop is shortened. The rear down bars are short. I only installed 5 points. The kit is actually an 8 point.
I would say less than 100lbs.
