Pretty much the same as any other car, the latch lets you adjust the angle of the seat back. You won't think it does much if the seat is all the way back on its' tracks. Move it forward a bit and then you can adjust the seat back.
One on the back side of the headrest lets you tilt the seat forward so you can reach behind it.

ok, my thread here is just full of fail on my part. i should have been more specific. the latch is near the door sill and not on the seat itself. i decided to pull on the damn thing and it wasnt an ejection seat as i had first assumed, but is a door release in case electrical power is lost to the vehicle.
Hey at least you found it. I was at a dealer looking at a new Z06 and the battery had just enough juice in it to let the salesman in then proceeded to lock him in the car. He had no idea about the lever but was able to pop the truck and crawl out that way. It was hilarious.

There are some real idiots calling themselves car salesmen. The two guys at my local GM dealership didn't know the difference between a GS and a Z06.

I hear ya. Before I bought mine, contacted one dealership, asked to speak to a salesperson that knows the Corvette. Asked him about his inventory, found he had a car that interested me. So I ask him... Does it have Dual Mode Exhaust? He tells me, UMMM NO. IT HAS QUAD PIPES. Ha Ha Ha!

you all can laugh at me now.
OK so when the C6 came out I was drooling over the new Vettes at a local dealer and I found one that was unlocked in the parking garage. I got in and it locked while I was sitting in it with no one around.
Took me a good ten minuets to figure out the emergency door release. I had visions of being stuck in the car for the whole night.

Look at it on the bright side, you could have been locked in a worse car
