Lowering a C6 Video

Front
Rear
Key is to get the weight of the Vette off the A-Arm. Do it with out jacking the spring and you WILL strip the head of the bolt.
Little WD40 on the treads doesn't hurt?

So, now my curiosity is running rampant. What, if any, implications are there for alignment issues with the front: camber, caster, tow-in, tow-out, and anything else I don't understand fully. In addition, my car has the select ride control, so does lowering adversely affect those $2k shocks by adding a burden to them, or by limiting their performance, etc.?
I have similar questions for the rear since it is independent rear suspension and possible alignment issues. I'm definitely no expert, don't even know if I employed the terms I used correctly, but I am very interested in learning, understanding and would appreciate anyone's attempts to share their knowledge. I did note too that you lowered it all the way, as you said. If one lowered them less than all the way, I suspect you would take a reference height somewhere to enable matching the height on the opposing wheels, or?, and perhaps elucidation on that topic would be helpful to all of us less knowledgeable, and interested.
I may be mistaken, but I believe that any misalignment may accelerate tire ware, and/or lower gas mileage, just to name two more concerns (I) harbor. Thank you kindly.
