Would be a lot of fun on a stout small block or stroker
Next ones getting cut open for surgery see what the limits of these are.
Is this for sell. Looking for a heavy ported intake that will work with my AFR 195 heads to feed my Stroker. I would be interested in buying any future ported intake that would feed my combo.
Thanks for the words guys (and Jim for the intake) yes its in the parts for sale section.
Actually spent more hrs on it and is being reflowed as we speak. It will either pick up or drop off in which case its time to cut the lid off (not this one) to get inside better
Awesome work. Cutting one open is getting real serious about it but I've never really seen one in action outside of an old Vette mag article about a 421 nitrous LT motor with a cut/rewelded LT4 manifold. I'm sure a few guys here on the forum have some though.

Im sure its been done before back when these cars were newer
When the gains on the bench come slower with more time seems thats about when you quit or go backwards. The only way to pick it up from there is to get inside or call it a day.
We may try and mount this thing to see what it could actually pull through the plenum side just out of curiosity. Theres no real way to simulate what it would do on a running engine with pressure waves, various cams with overlap etc so its a waste but its not.
Its now 360 (359.8) with the rest within 1.5-2%. Getting consistency and keeping taper is what takes forever. #8 is always the lagger on these as theres no radius to pull from on the outer wall (348cfm). Seems to be around or very close the limit without cutting the lid off which is in the works on another now. Fun stuff!
The guy that started TTS (I use the Datamaster software for my LT1s) cut one open on his new 93 Camaro in 93. But he wanted to add mid range torque and extended the inside runner length and used it on his 383. Nice idea but it didn't work as it limited his high end breathing.
