I am struggling trying to figure out how to disable the auto door lock feature on my new Z06. I don't want the doors to lock when I leave the car parked in my garage. I leave the key inside my house and sometimes while messing around inside the garage, I'll go to get inside the car and I have to go inside first to get the key fob. I've read the manual twice, tryed changing the Settings choices, but still no good...walk away from the car and the doors lock in about 5 seconds. It's an M7 transmission if that makes a difference. Any ideas??
Yep, that's the first thing I did...the dealer had it set to "ON" and I changed it to OFF as you stated. Car still locks both doors as soon as I get about 6' away from it. Once you change the setting to "Off", is it like a P/C where you have to "Save" that setting? I went in, changed the setting and then backed out...maybe it didn't save that new setting, I didn't check that. I'm also having problems getting the memory seats/ side view mirrors hold the setting I programmed into it....when I back up the mirrors tilt for going into reverse, but then fail to return to the "set" position I have programmed in when I start moving forward. Sound normal??

My mirrors did that for about 3 weeks. I was getting irritated, and reset everything. Hasn't been a problem since.
You can do it on the locks, because mine don't lock until I press the button on the remote. Not sure how I did it, but this might help, "To customize whether the doors automatically lock when exiting the vehicle, see “Passive Door Lock” under Vehicle Personalization p 131." As for the other settings, I had an issue once where things were working strange then I couldn't get my infotainment center to turn off no matter what I did. Pulled the negative battery connection for about 10 seconds for a hard shutdown like a PC and all has been fine since. I was a pilot for many years and this is a common practice on aircraft when things get weird. If you decide pull your battery cable, you may get a "window" message, just means you need to sync your door windows and there is a procedure in the owners manual for this, takes about 20 seconds.

First off, I am never flying commercial again! Yikes, pulling the plug on an airplane's computer to reboot it...holy moly!
Meanwhile on my post, I have a friend who has a 2015 Stingray and his car doesn't have this "all doors locking automatically when you walk away" feature, he has to use the key fob and gets the flashing lights and horn chirp, which is what I want. It's just a nuisance in my garage, where the car is completely safe day and night. I did recheck the settings and I am clearly in the "off" mode for the auto doors whatever it's called....and I've tried it in the "on" position, it still does the same thing. I do love the car, this is only a minor irritation, I was just hoping someone could tell me where the flux capacitor was, so I could pull that wire and my issue would disappear....thanks for your thoughts, I do appreciate them!

Wasn't a commercial pilot, military, but commercial does the same. We don't do it in flight, tends to have dramatic results ability to remain aloft. We do however, pull the circuit breakers on specific items to get them to reboot in flight at times.
I did check my config tonight when I came home. I have a specific page on my infotainment center that allows for door lock configuration. It's not described in the manual. Easy to find if you look at the menus.
