Default Ordered Arctic White Z-06 (2016) - Questions!

Hi Everyone,

I finally decided I had to have the Z-06 C7 Corvette. I've never been a big Corvette fan (for no specific reason) but this car is absolutely beautiful. When I see photos of it beside some other "super cars" like Lambo's and Ferarri's it looks just as good, if not better! GM has done a fantastic job.

I put the order in yesterday and was explained that you get put into a queue and I am not guaranteed to get one though but I am not that concerned as I will order whatever the next year I can get is. I'll just have to wait longer.

My questions:

- Is there a way to track where your order is in the queue? It looked like some threads I searched there was a way? If so, how?

- From order time to receiving the vehicle, how long are people waiting? For example, if you ordered your C7 Z-06 in April 2015, when did you actually get it? I am in Canada, so maybe there is someone in Canada that ordered at that time that can chime in?

- Because I never got to actually see this vehicle (other than in photos online) I am ordering a couple things in the dark. My biggest question is, on a 2016 2LZ C7 with Adrenalin Red w/ Mulan Perforated Leather Competition Seats, does the red appear on the dash around the instrument panel, doors, console, and seats only or does it show up on the glove box as well?

- I have a week to change anything on the vehicle ordered they told me and I have been going back and forth on the CF Ground Effects and the Carbon Flash Painted (which I ordered the Carbon Flash Painted)... My thinking was, seeing as they are low to the ground and will undoubtedly be one of the parts of the car that sees potential damage (people bumping into them, rocks, etc.), wouldn't it be best to get the painted ones as they can be repainted down the road if needed. Does this make sense? Is the CF going to get aged over time and need to be painted anyway or is the chance of damage slim to none? I plan to be buried in this car so this is quite important to me.

Thanks so much in advance and I am super excited to be part of the corvette family some day!

2LZ, Black Caliper is a $600.00 option.
The spoiler is stage 2, comes when ordering with the Ground effect package. I have the exposed carbon fiber.

One more question I forgot to ask...

I only ordered the visible CF roof panel and not the clear. For people that have both, do you ever use the clear? I kinda figured that I would either have the top on or off and not really need a clear panel.

Thanks again!

Some love the transparent top. My C5 had body color and transparent, I never used the transparent. The guy that bought my car, switched tops and never uses the body color top.
I do not like the top off, sunshine on my brain?? twice baked, not good. J/K

So that spoiler comes with ether the CF or Carbon Flash Ground Effects or only the CF Ground Effects?

It comes when ordering either carbon exposed or carbon flash.
The rear wings will be painted Carbon flash no matter how you order the ground effects package.

I believe that's the (2015) 3LZ. Notice how the seat bottom is different than the 2LZ photo, above.

Yes. Search orange peel here. Some are worse than others, but it is certainly not a strong point of the C7. They are currently constructing a new paint shop, though.

I think that is a GT seat bottom and not a comp seat bottom.
