Default Z06 maximum width?

While awaiting my Z06 delivery I've started wondering if it'll fit on the single door side of my garage. While the specs list a width for the car, I'm not clear if that's a mirror to mirror width or just the body excluding the side mirrors.

Would one of you guys mind measuring the maximum width from side mirror to side mirror? Do those mirrors power fold?

This will become very interesting if I can't fit it on 'my' side of the garage.

The mirrors fold manually. I measured just over 85" with the mirrors out so it will fit through an 8 foot door (typically 92-93" finished width) but depending upon orientation you may have to back in to make sure you have room to open the driver's door enough to get in and out.

When I brought my Z06 home my Cadillac ATS moved to the 8' stall where it fits easily and my Z06 and GMC 2500HD crewcab have the 9' slots.

Thanks! I'm at 92" for the stall so good to go. Definitely backing in.

I too was surprised by the width--the tires hang about 1" over the edge of my Direct Lift PP8S on both sides when it is lined up perfectly. The old 95 ZR-1--also a wide car--had both tires well inside the outer edges of the lift. --Bob

Cool thanks! I should be fine then. Now I just need the car. I'm like a 3 year old being told to wait.

Pretty sure anything over 79.8" requires clearance lights, and we don't have those.

Here is some reading material for you. page 33 says it is 77.4 inches wide, I bet that is with mirrors closed though. I would think overall width would be with its wings spread.
