Sorry mine were fine. I will watch what I recommend. Mine didn't get all the way into the corners when first installed but were better than that shows. The first picture is scary looking but the second may make it after a week or so.
Replacement arrived and installed - consider me underwhelmed
Does not fit near as nice as in the pictures kenmohr posted earlier in this thread. There is plenty of length, but the corner miters are just not quite right. Bag said "Made in India" again, so I guess they are sourcing them from the same place as the other vendors now. Probably not worth the price premium anymore. I will let them know they should remove "Made in USA" from their website.
Not worth my time to remove and return and have to purchase again from someone else. But if the corners split I'll be
You would be incorrect, then. This one was hand selected by them as the first one they shipped was defective. The dark areas on the corners is dielectric grease I applied to hopefully prevent the corners from tearing.
You have numerous posts on how good this weatherstrip is, but what they are selling now is not worth getting price premium over what the other vendors sell.
I should have gotten my Wilcox A&B Pillar weather stripping today. Shipping problem, I guess. Anyways, not to hi jack. But does anyone have any tips before I start? Also, will give my feedback on the Wilcox weather strips.

I had talked to them several years ago and asked if they imported them and they said yes. Told them I was not interested and they said check back at a later time as they were discussing making their own. Several years went by and I had repaired the current one by adding a piece in the corner like others had done. I do a lot of car shows and tried to keep the corners hidden. I called them back and was told they had contacted GM and got the original specs and make their own. They guaranteed my satisfaction as I was being a pain about the fit.
I had 4 before the current one and the all were bad in the corners and tore with in 2 months. I lubed them and all the tricks. It was in 2010 or 11 When I put the current one on and it is still there. The following is a current pic taken today. Truly hope the haven't gone back to importing. Their import price years ago was in the $80.00 range. Good luck hope all works out for you.
The imported hatch piece Willcox uses comes unglued in the corners and the rubber comes unglued from the plastic frame that snaps into the car. The parts either aren't prepped right for the glue, or the glue is a low temp glue and fails from high temps. Would not buy another one as they fail in less than a year.
