Started it for the first time in 2 years and backed it out into the driveway under the bright sunshine under it's own power.

Let everything come up to temp, bled out the power steering (hydroboost installed) checked the obvious fluid levels etc and general operation.

Everything that was done/fixed/replaced/updated seems to be happy for a change

Lets see what the garage floor looks like tomorrow

Not so bad since the top was down all the way. Only during stop lights was it a bit much.

Pulled the rear end out to replace a bent trailing arm, new seals, brake pads. Also need new bushings or Heim joints for the camber rods and probably new exhaust pipes.

Replaced driver side T-top panel weatherstrip. Plan to do passenger's side tomorrow.

The old seal had hardened over the years but removal was pretty straight-forward. I used pliers to remove the nineteen push pins. Took the opportunity to repaint the trim plate and got new screws from ACE hardware.

On my custom door panels- the door opening handle just didn't look right...

SO- decided to do away w/ the door handle and put on poppers....

NOW- Where do I mount the switch?

I'm using a 66 C2 metal handle- and was able to find a neat little momentary switch that would fit.

Now figure out the linkage- as the door rod needs to be "pushed" but the door popper solenoid "pulls!"

I finished installing my Global West rear adjustable camber strut rods. Set the camber close enough to get it to the alignment shop.

Took a 2 day trip from Chicago to Springfield and back with my 10 year old grandson to do the "Lincoln Tour." Had a great time! 80+ - no problem!

I FINALLY got my air conditioning working correctly.

I've been chasing leaks, electrical issues, and high head pressures.

Just in time for the summer heat here in Texas. Today's heat index is expected to be over 100 degrees.

I put the car cover on her. She's gonna sit for a while. It is just too hot to drive with no A/C. I had delayed putting the cover on her, because I like to see how pretty she is. I'll get her out for a shine in about a month.
