Default Has Anyone installed side skirts on car with GM splash Guards?

I bought a set of side skirts and front splitter from CF Kits. (forum sponsor) It appears that I will either have to
1 Remove the Front splash Guards
or
2 Cut & modify the Front splash guards to allow the side skirts to fit
or
3 Modify the side skirts to allow them to fit properly under the Front splash Guards.

Has anyone else run into this problem when trying to install side skirts on car with GM Splash Guards? Did you find an easy solution?

I'm thinking I will need to remove the top front lip of the wrap around on the skirt. This also means I will need to brace the front of the skirt prior to cutting it with something like JB Weld.

I'm a bit bummed out because I asked specifically about this prior to purchase and was lead to believe that this was not a problem. Now that I have them painted I discovered this problem with fitment. Yes I dry fitted them by myself and somehow missed this. Old age and chronic pain make a fool of me far too often.
Anyway, I'm looking for others who may have found an easier way out. I worked with my hands all my life. But stupid stuff like this has a way of breaking down my confidence. I may be overlooking the obvious too, since I have not jacked up the car yet to do the install.
Thanks for your help

You shouldn't have to modify anything. My skirts came from RPI but I would imagine they are shaped the same with the same dimensions.

I just dry fitted it again. I can make it work without cutting the front lip of the skirt. But it will not be solid against the underside of the car the way it is supposed to be. I suppose I could use some self tapping screws to hold it in place underneath and fill in the small area where its not up against the under side.
Here's a picy of the front of the side skirt. Not sure the picy is coming out right

You need to get a set of side skirts that are designed for the mud flaps. There is a different part number.

Did yours also come from RPI? Are the Fiberglass or Carbon Fiber?

FWIW, CF Kits shows a picture of their carbon fiber which look different than mine, which are fiberglass. They look like they would work with the splash guards

I don't think so.

I suspect you are right. The Fiberglass were laid with the older jig while a newer pattern was used for the carbon fiber skirts. I can make it work with some mods. But I didn't want to have to do so.haven't called them yet since they are 3 hrs behind my time. I'll wait a little bit and call them though.
BTW, I installed the wheel stripes last weekend. Looks very nice.

I've had those wheel stripes for over 2 years and they still look new. I'm surprised how long they've lasted. When I got them I was thinking they'd probably peel off or fade within a few months.

I'm very impressed with their looks. I saw them on your car and on their website. But I was worried that they would look fake in real life. They don't. They actually look even better than I imagined

I know there is a different number, as I had the RPI mud flap before I added the side skirts and had to get another set that were designed to have the mud flaps.

Would you like to buy a set of mud flaps as I still have the original set that had to be replaced when I added the side skirts.

If they didn't fit yours with the skirts how would they fit mine? I would like to see what you're talking about though.

FTR, I did call Mike at CF Kits yesterday. He has installed many sets on cars with the splash guards. He advised that he uses a Dremel tool to cut out a notch in the bottom of the splash guard to allow the shoulder of the side skirt to fit into.
From my initial assessment I think this will work.

If you get the RPI set then everything is matched and fits properly. I have not seen any flap that equal the RPI

The RPI flaps I have are the 2 inch rather than the smaller ones. With the flaps and skirts, I ran through wet grass on the road. I removed fist full of clipping from my wheel wells but there was not grass blade one on the side of my car.
