There's "Steamtown National Historic Site" (a National Park) out in that area that's very interesting if you're into railroads, steam and other locomotives, etc. Here's the info:

I just checked the website. I gave you the mailing address. The right location is:
IMPORTANT: Steamtown's Park Entrance and Headquarters mailing address are not the same. There is no public access from our street mailing address. The Park Entrance is located at Lackawanna Avenue and Cliff Street in downtown Scranton.

Or, if you're standing in front of the stadium seating area and facing the seats, it's to your right a couple of hundred feet.
My admission sticker says "A", "16" and "294", but I don't know what any of that means.
If you look at the map of the grounds, you will see the '63-'67 Stingray Registry is shown on the grounds under tent "A" at the end of isles II&IH. Dennis
I'll be over in the reserved parking area as a spectator this year with a group from our club.
The 64 is still in pieces....... so I'm the designated passenger.
Jack - Go check out the town of Wormleysburg - about 30 minutes from the fairgrounds. Jennie and I went there last year for a pre-show cruise and discovered Dukes, and Dockside ******* on the waterfront. Great food, beautiful drive, and a spectacular spot on the Susquehanna.
Safe and Scenic parking - Here's the view from our table...
Paul, For just a moment I thought you were sending Jack to Fla. The palm trees will fool you. They are a annual seasonal expense for many places up this way. Crab cake sandwich looks damn good. Dennis

No kidding, huh? Apparently the palm trees are stored indoors over the winter. Sure makes for a great setting though!
