Default Pleasant surprise this morning

I was getting ready for work this morning and my girlfriend handed me a a package and said happy birthday.
She bought me a new C4 Corvette hat and shirt! I wasn't expecting that at all. We were friends in high school, 30 years later she's moved 6000 miles to be with me( we went to highschool in Hawaii and she stayed there, married , had children and eventually was divorced) four years ago we reconnected through Facebook after my divorce and slowly decided to date. Now, she's here, I'm happy as a clam and she likes corvettes!
I buy parts to fix my cars but seldom buy myself corvette apparel because I'm cheap. Lol.
I'm almost done with the refurbishment of my 95 vert and it's much more enjoyable to have a woman in the passenger seat to share the time with. And when I say lets go topless, I keep hoping for another response from her besides " I'll help put the top down on the car "
Thanks for reading my little story, I hope everyone has a good day out there in corvette land!

Default Happy Birthday-this is different

Was not my birthday and I hardly knew this neighbor down the street from us but he saw my Vette in our garage and stopped by one day and asked me if I wanted a new leather Corvette jacket. I was thinking, how much, and he said it was free! He worked for the FL lottery and for some reason they had a few of these new jackets. A couple of days later he brought it over, it still had all the tags on it. It is beautiful leather and the only problem is that living in FL it is not hardly cold enough to wear! If I decide to sell the car maybe I'll include the jacket!

It seems like you're much more excited about reconnecting with this fine lady after all these years and the Corvette related gifts are just icing on your cake. Good luck going forward. "Life is good"

Thanks everyone! I was just happy and wanted to share a good start to the dAy. I enjoy this forum and have met some nice and knowledgable folks here. Thanks again for the kind words, and yes, she's a keeper.
