Default Trouble with RPI ZRAL-1 front splitter

Now, could someone give me a step by step for a front splitter install on the base c6? I'm a dummy when it comes to this stuff and the body shop I had it at said it didn't fit. I don't think he tried removing the black rubber/plastic piece right in the picture so that was probably the reason why, but I have no idea. When I went to look at it it didn't look like the splitter was wide enough which I thought was wierd seeing as the base model is the most narrow body you're going to find. Thanks for any help.

The first thing the instructions say is to take those side air dam pieces off.
That side looks to be about 2" short but what does the other side look like? If it's short as well then you have the whole thing too far forward.
Mine is not ZRAL, it's the ZR1, but the way I did it was to mount both ends in place first then lift the center up into position and mount the rest.

start in the center and work your way out. that picture doesnt do much though can you show the whole install? front middle around the curve of the bumper. it looks to far forward but icant imagine you have it that far forward. is it not predrilled?

Here a picture of the side skirts from RPI mounted.. Doesn't look like it goes to the front fender far enough, body shop said the same thing.

Nobody I've shown notices it but I do lol.

I don't have it anymore but you can email Josh Josh@rpidesigns.com and he'll send it to you.
It says pretty much what I described already. Remove the side air damm pieces. Support the splitter sides and front in place. Line up one end at the edge of the fender and drill 1/8" hole and screw it in. Do the same for the other end - line up at fender, drill and screw it in. The lift the center into place and drill a hole there where the marks are on the splitter. Screw that one in and you should be lined up all the way around. Then just drill and screw the rest of the premarked holes.

looks close enough to mine, about where I think mine should be. I think mine are both short like 1/2 inch to 1 inch. Had to use a self tapper as well because the most forward hole didn't line up.

First picture is the right side of the splitter lined up correctly, the second picture is as far in as the center will go, and the third picture is the left side of the splitter and I'm holding it at far back as it will effectively go. It seems like it needs opened up more, sort of like it's too narrow. Finish is awesome it just doesn't want to fit.

That is the same fitnent problem I just ran into. I saw one on a wide body and the fit was good but the base model version does not fit well at all !
