How many of you miss the Corvette?
, miss it already
, in that time ive been thinking of what i should do next year, im thinking about trading mine in and upgrading to a z06, zr1 in my opinion is the ultimate but with a 30k overhead its hard to justify. How about you guys? Im sure some of you miss your vettes as well.

Mine has been put away since November 1. I do miss it, but it's also nice to have it so I can do some preventative maintenance to it over the winter hibernation period.
It's a great time to put it on 4 jack stands, clean the underbody, carry out any maintenance etc.
I really have nothing really to do mechanically this year, but I will be adding an aux port to the Nav radio, as well as bluetooth.
I'm also adding extra sound insulation to the hatch area, by adding a lighter, more insulated front divider with a top insulated section at the coupe glass housing to basically cut the hatch area from the front while on road trips.
The hatch area will still be capable of storing 2 medium suitcases, and can store the targa with those insulated pieces in place.
Here is a pic of what I plan on fabricating, based on a what a forum member (jost6453) did to his many years ago.
As much as it sucks having to put it away to keep it away from salt and brine, it's also exciting to get it out again on April 1.
Only had mine for a couple of months and then had to put it away for the winter early November. Didn't get around to doing much but some plans I have for the spring & upcoming season are:
- Full detail inside & out (previous owners left a ton of swirl marks)
- New wheels
- Side skirts & front Lip
And lastly just to Drive & enjoy it.

I've lived between Honeoye and Naples for the past 35 years.
This is my first sports car that isn't a manual transmission.
I have grown to like the paddles, although not quite the same fun as a stick.

Its addicting, i feel the withdrawals as well, watching alot of corvette videos on youtube surely doesn't help either.
