Allen,
I received notice that the chrome roll bar will arrive on Tuesday next week. My plan is to immediately place it into my racer (pictured below) and check it for fit. Mine is a 72 coupe versus your 70 convertible but I think it will fit well due to the way the back bracers are on this roll bar.
I will share pictures in my race thread when I do that work. It does look nice in your convertible, thank you for sharing those pictures.
Have a great weekend and best regards,
David Howard

I forgot to include the pictures, sorry. Here are two of the body, two of the seats and current roll bar fitment process. Current bar mounting was my next step and your bar may hold the final design I need for either mounting mine, or mounting yours, or some mixture of them both. Look forward to the adventure.

So you built one of aluminized steel and had it chromed? And then bolted it down "somewhere" behind the seats.

The roll bar was in my car when I bought it. There were four holes cut in the fiberglass in the sides of the storage compartment, two on each side. The roll bar was bolted to the frame using two bolts in each of the brackets going thru the fiberglass to the frame. The holes were then glassed in around the roll bar.

Pics of the roll bar can be seen here:
