I've had seven Corvettes for a total of about 12 years. I almost never had women comment on them or even look my way. I've had two Audi A7s for a total of two and a half years. I get comments from women on them I'd say about once a month. And in most cases they go out of their way to walk over to me to tell me how much they like it. Women are seldom impressed by Corvettes unless they own one themselves.
Just a general observation from being around my college age daughters - you will get far more chicks with a tricked out Jeep Wrangler Unlimited than with a Corvette or any other new sports car that is not of the high priced Italian variety: Bugatti, Ferrari or Lamborghini (which they know cost as much as a house - meaning you are very rich).
Older women gravitate toward my '57 and make a comment about when they were younger. I always ask if they are reminiscing while I give a little chuckle. Then you see the glimmer in their eye.

That's not a glimmer you see it's the grim reaper.

And if you do pick up a girl because of your Corvette/any "fancy" sports car, she's into your wallet, not you.
I had the Vette in storage for about four years before/after my divorce. Kept the car after the D. Finally brought it home one day and the new gf said she didn't like it. "That car is just for chasing pu$$y" was the comment.
I replied, "I got you without the car, didn't I?" End of that conversation.

This thread should be funny. Probably alot of liars will post. I will start I bought the car first for looks and performance, 2nd to impress chicks...(even though i am married it's still nice to be noticed. ) If I was single, picking up or impressing checks would be number 1. Looks and performance 2nd.
Hey I'm honest almost everything a man does is too impress the opposite sex. When your young you try to lift weight to have the best body when you get older you try to make more money to get chicks. Even when I played football it was to get chicks.
So lets fess up where was picking up/or getting noticed by chicks on your criteria for buying the C7?
Owning a Corvette for over a decade and the only chicks I could attract were over 50 years old.

So I had 6 girls over last night to play on the stripper pole and hot tub. I went to take a **** and heard giggling from the closet. (My closet has a secret door to my garage). I opened the door and a couple of them were taking pictures with it. Again. They must hate it, didn't help at all...
That other dude is right though, these chicks were young and so am I.
