New in boxes complete Saddle Deluxe Interior
Dash and rest of interior in excellent condition, so I'm keeping the int color.
Problem is the color is Pewter Silver/Saddle. likely a rare color combination simply because in my opinion its ugly.
I'd like to repaint it a 72 corvette color that looks good with the Saddle interior and am looking for suggestions and pictures.

Any of the "warm" colors would look great with saddle interior.... like yellows, oranges, gold, or brown.
If you have a small piece of the saddle material, take it to your big box home improvement store, in the paint isle, and lay it next to some of the colors in their color charts to get a side by side idea.

Nice clean looking deluxe interior. I notice your shifter console plate doesn't have the woodgrain insert? Was it there originally?

Thanks for the compliments.
I have the console insert but I never put it on.
It seemed to be very dull compared to the finish that we find on a luxury car and is was thinking that as the weather gets warmer I would spray some gloss polyurethane on it and see if it looked better that way.

I'm currently working on restoring the dark saddle interior on my 73 white coupe.
Personally, I think the saddle interior option goes well with a wide variety of colors. I'm keeping the saddle interior that was in my dad's 68 as well. The car has been green with a gold motion stripe and most recently black with a metallic red motion stripe. The saddle looked good with both color combos. I am leaning toward the cars original rally red with a white or black motion stripe. Maybe a metallic blue with silver or white stripe. Decisions decisions.
