New engines, shocks, etc. Talk about jealous..... I'd like to have one, but I can't justify $1000 for the HPI Baja 5B that I'd like to have.....

Hpi made the big noise in weed buggies, but all of a sudden a knock off was there king motors, they are not a cheaper bootleg but rather made at the same china plant as the named hpi stuff but much less cost,
Redcat has the rampage series, low priced 4 wheel drive weed buggies and trucks, that black one i posted redcat chimera, well beaten,
For 1500 it better be pretty well hopped up and tricked out,
20 plus years ago the first weed buggy was the raco jacrabbits, they ran zenoah engines, no diffs, super simple super nice, i have one in my collection,
The big dollar l88 of the weed buggy world is the edelbrock sprint car, true work of art....too much for me to grab one,
I just never warmed up to electrics, i like the noise and smell of gas or nitro,
But nitro is dying out fast too many hassles and costs.

Clearly I am still stuck in the late 60's where I still have my open wheeled Indy car from Sprite soft drinks that has the old school gas engine on it.

I would just have to sit back and watch those with these RC cars on steroids have BLAST with them.

Sorry 'Bats' for getting off topic on your thread.

redvetracr here on the forum is selling a C3 race car chassis that has removable body panels. You can see with the panels off some of the supporting braces that would hold the nose and fenders.

If I could get rid of my C4 I would be all over this project!!
