Drivers door
OK, this just happened I was trying to get out of the car and as usual turn off the car and push the button to get out and makes the noise and the window indexes down but the door doesn't open, so I use the escape lever. Now when I try to get into the car once again makes the noise the window indexes and the door doesn't open, anyone know how to fix this?

It's not a fob issue. I would first lubricate the latch mechanism. See if that helps.

You are going to need a new latch mechanism - what year is your car?

seems very likely - it is a common problem with the C6 - mine went out 2 years ago and I have a 2007

I had to take it to an independent because I don't have the skill to open the interior plastic fitting to access the latch. The part is not cheap either (might be 175).

Actually I was referring to this. Spray some liquid wrench or use some grease on it.

Well I greased it as EVRose suggested and still have to use the cable to open the door, I guess I'm buying a new latch tomorrow
