How many guys go through this ? You have a convertible and it is summer time and time to drop the top but your wife has better ideas . She will say it either blows her hair around , it's too cold, or it's too hot because of the direct sun . Yep , that's what I have been hearing ever since we started hitting the cruises after memorial day. The first two cruises she said it was too cold so yesterday it was a perfect day and I said " It looks like a good day to drop the top " She said you drop the top and I will drop you . ( JUST KIDDING ) I know it sounds like she is a little bitchy but not the case at all , we get along great and coming up on our 50th anniversary . She just don't like the top down .

Not exactly what you were saying but it reminded me that years ago I had another wife and another dog. Wound up getting rid of her and keeping the dog. Best decision I ever made. He was a very good boy.
I like convertibles best, my 66 daily driver was a convertible,
Tina found our 69 convertible. And never said a word about the top being down unless is was cold but i had the heat on her side, she was happy,

So mostly drop the top at night,
I dont like my hair blowing everywhere but like when riding the trike have a ball cap for that, tina lets her hair blow free,
at the moment the soft top is trash so i just leave the hard top on,

Serious question, that's what my wife wears and its never been an issue.
