Welcome back Mike. It took me until 3 PM to get to your post, and now my Sunday is complete.

If I wasn't so technologically challenged I would put up the picture of Todd, and Buzz looking back from their C2. Back in the day it was that program that made me curious of what Route really 66 was. It took me until 2010 to realize Route 66 was/is about America. After 4 journeys, all in our Corvettes, the last in our C7, we're planning another next year. And yes sir, it will be in a Corvette.

Welcome back, Mike. Hope you had nice break, but I know what you mean that coming back from vacation is usually painful.

I've been curious about this for a long time, because I do peruse your inventory every so often. With your huge inventory, I just noticed you don't have a single C7 M7 convertible of any model in stock.

I know about the 70/30 split in preference, but none?

I thought it might be silver.
I had grey vents on my Blade Silver base 2016.

Love that combo/contrast.

Cheers

I love "The Osborne's" Z06! The color, those rims and stripes is one of the most beautiful color combos I've seen!

I warned upper Management about ordering too many Auto trans, even though the sales rate is 80% auto trans... I felt Criswell is more of a 7spd manual dealer then most. I told them to order 65% auto and 35% 7spd manual...but what do I know...I've only been tracking this stuff since 1978! The funny thing is...I track our used Corvette inventory as well and we have more sticks then Auto's!!!

Prediction:

With the ZR1, mid-engine, and C8 in the immediate future...... Mike will reach 5K new Corvettes sold and delivered much faster than he did going from 3K to 4K.

Entering the twilight of his career, Mike has the best generations just ahead of him.

I like all of the photos, but really like the old 1950s photo of the Chevrolet dealership. It's like going back in time. Even though the 1957 Bel Air was not a Corvette, it has a well-deserved cult following all its own.

Mike,
Thanks for another great Sunday post. I too stopped and stared at the Osborne's Z06. That Corvette is stunning.

This one Mike. I bought my first Corvette in 1978, it was a 1974 White 4spd L48 Coupe and had the Malcolm Konner, Pete Wasserman sticker on the rear bumper. I shopped the used Corvette inventory at Malcolm Conner several times looking for my first Corvette and remember looking at all of the new '78 Pace Cars and Silver Anniversaries in stock.
