Default Ramps for doing oil change on C6

Excuse me if this topic has already been addressed but I searched the forum without success. Simple question - can someone recommend a set of ramps that will allow me to do routine under-car maintenance (oil and filter change primarily) on a C6?
I've been looking at the Race Ramps but thought I'd run it past you guys before I pull the trigger. Thanks in advance for any input you may have.

I made some out of three 2 x 12s, but I have to put one more piece underneath them, making them 4 x 1.5 = 6" high. I'm not big (180) but it took that much height for me to wiggle under it. I go in under the front to change the oil.

I went the 2x12 route as well. 5 layers gives me room underneath. Due to the slope of my driveway, this height also has my car level when the front is on the ramps and the rears on the driveway. They are a bit heavy so I added a couple of wheels to the ramps and roll them around like a wheelbarrow. Standing upright along the wall in the garage and they don't take up a lot of space.

SEMA is coming up and I’d bet raceramps will have a deal next week for the show. Just a thought

Race ramps are awesome. Along with my Quickjack, I can do almost anything.

(One thing about race ramps is they are extremely LIGHT weight. You can store them anywhere. Mine are up in the rafters over the cars. A small kid can lift them).

Love my race ramps. They are super lightweight and I like the 2 piece design. They don't slide on my concrete garage floor and the slope is very gradual so driving up on them is easy.

What are the dimensions of your ramps? I need them to get my C6 up enough to change the oil. Thanks for your response.

Raceramps come in so many configurations.
This is the setup we used at OUSCI last year.

I bought a pair of Race Ramps soon after getting my '13. I like them and recommend them but if you like doing-it-yourself and/or saving money you can certainly follow some of the ideas presented here.

I built a pair of these for the front from 2 x 8's and use jackstands to make the car level when doing oil changes or trans fluid changes. Perfect height for me.

I already owned a set of Rhino Ramps but to use them on the C6, I had to build a set of those 2x12 wood ramps to allow the car to get high enough to get up on the rhino ramps. The rhino ramps have an existing hole in the approach end so I drilled a hole in the exit end of the wood ramps and drop a carriage bolt in to pin the 2 together when I use them. Sorry, don't have any pics.

Another vote for Race Ramps. Worth the $ if for no other reason than that they are so light. Years ago I built a pair of wonderful wood ramps. Although the wood wasn't particularly inexpensive it was a fun project and they were sturdy and certainly did the job. Storage was a pain however. Along came Race Ramps and that was that. As previously mentioned, they are so easy to store and so very light to handle. I have them up in my garage attic. They are completely out of the way and yet within a minute and one half, they can be down and ready to use. Just used 'em today and I marvel at what a great product they are.
