Default Z-51 emblems.

We're these not part of the factory build? Why wouldn't Chevrolet badge the Z-51 cars? I've seen some cars with them in the fender grills behind the front wheel.

Recommendations and/or pics if you have them on your cars?

My guess is because technically Z-51 is just a option where as ZO6, ZR1 etc are models.

I have seen them too. One owner told me he got his from Ebay. They are not factory items, at least not that I am aware of.

That's right Z06, ZR1 and " Grandsport" are models, and as stated Z51 is an option.

It's the kind of thing I'd remove, not add.

The Z51 badges are aftermarket add ons. They did not come from the factory.

Several members have given you some leads on where to purchase the emblems if you want a set on your car.

Except in the 2014 when it got a separate model designation, making a Z51 separate enough to be counted like a convertible vs a coupe: https://www.corvettemuseum.org/wp-co...vetteStats.pdf

And technically Z51s are listed just like GS and Z06 in terms of getting a specific VIN assignment: https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...17-c7-vin.html

Does this prove anything? I doubt it since GM's marketing materials simply refer to the Z51 a "package".

I should have realized that, it makes sense now.

Besides that, GM adds the Z51 package to to the base price, not listed as a separate option like the A8.
In Michigan only the base price of a car determines the cost of yearly license plates. The 5k Z51 package needlessly adds $35 to the yearly cost.

I placed the small "Z51 Decal" on the side vents, it works for me. Many equate that Chevy put the "Z71" badge on many of their pick-ups and SUV's.

I did, too!

I cleaned the area I was applying them to with 70% alcohol. The decals were sticky, so I placed them where I wanted them. Then I masked off the fender. I lightly sprayed the decal with semi-gloss clear, out of a rattle can, so I did not get any runs. I waited 20 minutes between coats. I sprayed five coats of semi-gloss clear to feather the edges, so nothing would pick the edges up, and to protect the decal from the weather.

This was my version before I got the Z06/Grand Sport vents....

When I got the vents, I changed it to this.....

Both of these are available on Ebay.

When I had my Z51 - I added the badge to the engine area since it was a performance upgrade option:
